CORE IMPROVEMENT TEAM

Aim High Academy Trust requires a small but effective Executive Management Team that have responsibilities for all its main functions. In addition to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Business Manager roles, the Trust also deploys a number of Academy Improvement leads.

CEO – Graham Stephenson

The CEO will be the lead educationalist in the MAT, responsible for the school improvement direction for all schools within the MAT. They will act as the link director to each school in the MAT, ensuring consistency in the Head teachers performance management process and may at times serve as the Executive Head to schools when needed.

Finance and Business Manager – Beverly Feetham

The Finance and Business Manager will lead the development and consolidation of the Trust finance operations; working with the Headteachers and business support staff across the academies to ensure compliance with financial procedures and statutory obligations.

Academy Improvement Leads

The Academy Improvement leads will have a co-ordination role of teaching and learning and pastoral and welfare roles across the Trust allowing the MAT to have a focussed lead and a consistent approach; it also reduces the direct costs to each academy.

Teaching and Learning – Heather March

The academy improvement lead for teaching and learning is responsible for coordinating teaching approaches across the trust. Our strategy is to enhance strong collaboration and to facilitate targeted coaching and mentoring of staff.

Pastoral and Welfare – Denise Shovlin

Our pastoral and welfare lead will support pupils and families to achieve the very best outcomes. With a focus on safeguarding, early help and attendance, they will provide direct support to promote pupils welfare.
